Bad Lie Pics

DGCR member mitland finds himself in a tough spot at LTC Cleveland, Hole #11. I've landed in the same tree!

I've only ever seen drivers caught in the wires.
The hole has four positions.... going from mid to driver in length.
There is often wind on that hole so sometimes a mid or putter gets knocked down before it has a chance at glory.
Fun hole and an ace run when in the shortest of the four positions.

I can fess up and say mine was just a n00b throw that launched straight up off the tee. Hey, it happens.

^Well, we threw a few rocks at it and noticed that it didn't budge. So, we drove up to Sport Chalet and bought a $6 slingshot, and went back to the course. It took about 5 direct hits in 15 minutes to get it out. The slingshot is now a permanent fixture in my buddies bag.

Slingshot, eh? That's a pretty darn good idea!

^He is kind of the "Walter" in our group so it works out great in hypothetical situation. "MARK IT 5!"

I hope for your sake that none of you are "Donnie" and end up having a heart attack when "Walter" is forced to fire his slingshot in the air in order to fend off nihilists. :| :|

:D

it don't get much worse than that!:(

I mean it looks like you either got 3 in the drink or found some. at least you can see in your water. :|

Impaled!

Hole #11 Reedy Creek Park. This was an old Stingray. Probably 12 years old. It was getting somewhat brittle after playing through it's final winter. Maybe I shoulda hung it on the wall instead of launching it to it's doom. It did what Stingrays do best I guess: turn over. Too bad there was a pointy pine branch waiting there :(

Banklick (Lincoln Ridge)?

LOL, no! :D

That's three separate courses in (I think) three different states! :D

1. Seviren Lang
2. Richmond Hill
3. I cannot for the life of me remember what course that was from.

That's Charlie Vettiner instead of Seviren Lang. They're close though.

Any of you deep south people every land next to a gator? I imagine having a golden retriever would be very handy that day.

I must admit if I came across a gator or a croc on a course I think I would almost have to throw my Gator infront of it and take a picture :D.
