what is your goal for the year

1. Get practice basket and iimprove putting.

2. Shoot -7 on my local 9 hole course.

3. Have played 40 courses (currently at 25 I think).

4. Improve my forehand driving.

5. Consistenly drive 375'+ when going for D.

I started playing the end of September 08, basically October 08, so I am still working on my first set of goals, but if I were to start right now.

1. Lower scoring average to lower than plus 6 and to never again see it go above that.

2. Gain confidence in my discs and have a bag full of discs that I am confident in (I have seven discs right now, none of which I am confident with as evidenced by my round today).

3. Get control of my mental game and stop getting so frustrated with how I am playing, even if I take a week off.

4. To thow discs everyday if only for a little bit.

These are more like summer goals.

1) Increase my comfortable putting range (right now it's only like 10 feet).

2) Increase accuracy on drives.

3) Play Pier Park, Milo Mclver, and Whistlers Bend (Seeing as I live in Oregon)

4) Help some other people enjoy the game, whether that's by giving away discs or helping with form or whatever.

5) Play at least one tournament (my first).

i'm going for 10 new courses this year, and adding 50ft distance to my drives. i've already played 2 new courses, so maybe i can actually get in a few extras.

My goal for 2009 is too grunt as loud as possible on every manly drive that I throw!

I like this goal though usually I let out my manly loud grunts when I am ready to give up on a round because I am playing so poorly. Kind of like today come to think of it. Turned a few heads on the course.

Don't think your grunts aren't appreciated.. people hear, then adhere too it.. you're passing along an unspoken tradition... bravo

1. Get my drives to have at least a 300' distance on a regular basis
2. Practice my putting everyday and sometimes spend the day only putting
3.Remember to keep score through out the game!
4.Not to get so pissed at myself when my game sucks:D

1. Leave every course I play better than I found it.
2. Learn to run our singles events as well as my predecessor did.
3. Teach as many people as possible about Disc Golf.

Play more consistantly, especially in the 2-day tourneys.
Hope that my partner and I <team blowfly> will win the S.Carolina doubles championship this year <we lost by just 1 stroke last year>.
Win at least 2 tourneys in Adv. Masters
Gain enough PDGA points to again get invited to the worlds.
And if all things come together right this year...finally win Adv Masters state title...3 years now at 2nd place overall.

Id like to get my ranking to 940+. Cashout in majority of tourneys in advanced division,

1. Improve putting
2. Focus on taking adequate preparation before each shot and not rushing it.
3. Lord willing--my R. knee gets healthy enough so that I can re-incorporate BH drives in my game. I really miss being able to attack dog left holes.

Go Ambie

I have been workin' on my RHBH for about 2 yrs now. Lately, I have been playing righty a lot. So my goal for this year is: GO AMBIE!!!!

1) Get proficient with throwing right handed

I am still pretty new to the game so my goals are a little more modest than some of you guys. I will be in the area to play two of the top 10 courses this summer so I would like to bag them. I also would like to achieve more consistency with the precision of my shots. I would even like to enter my first tournament. Modest goals.

Besides what I think is probably everyones goal, improving, I have a couple more things. One, I hope to have played thirty course by the year's end (currently I am up to 22). I have played most of the courses in my area so there will be a little travel involved to reach that goal. At this point I am going for quantity over quality. I have already added courses to my wish list that I think I can hit. They are based on the areas that I already assume I will traveling to this year anyway. All of them will be in Georgia and Tennessee with the possibility of hitting one in Florida when I visit my mother in law in the West Palm Beach area (suggestions in the WPB area are welcomed by the way). Secondly, being a 90% forehand thrower I am hoping to work on my backhand. I use it for shots 100' and under but would like to get 250-275' with accuracy by years end.
