I don't mind the low maintenance... though Highbridge is the reason I will be in the area. It has been a tradition of my group to go to both. Honestly I think it is a more scenic and interesting course to play and is worth a play if we are already heading up there.
I wanted to know if anyone knew if Telemark in northern wisconsin is currently open or closed. At one point this summer it looked like it was taken down. It is one of the best courses I have been to and will be up in the area later this summer. Any information would be helpful.

Good for working on distance because the holes are open and somewhat long. It is hard to loose a disc.
Many of the holes are boring holes. Not much variety. Tons of bird poop every where. Shady part of town.

This course is difficult and small. It is a great course to work on your short game. The course itself is decently well groomed.
The holes are pretty short. It can get very buggy and wet. After playing the course a few times it is no longer very challenging
