What I think of some disc golf rules and other ideas:

-Mandos: I like mandos for the most part, unless they take away the potential for a fun hole.

Ropes: I think they are necessary in some occasions. I think if they are going directly to the basket from the tee-pad is a great idea. Some at the USDGC are a little goofy. I hate the idea of multiple islands being created and where you are OB if you aren't in one of the islands. As long as the rule is to take it from where it went out, it's all good to me.

-Island greens: Usually enjoy them, as long as they are large enough and there's a drop zone. If there's enough potential for a score in the double digits, then I don't like it.

    -Drop zones: Love them!

-The rating system: Love it too! I always thought that in games, there needs to be a high score. And the rating system offers that. Love how it's used too and how it all depends on how everyone else plays.

I also love rock music, post-hardcore to be exact.

    Now about reviews:

-Keep it simple. Like an early morning cup of coffee. If I like the course, I'll give it a good rating. If I don't, I won't. I've seen reviewers say that they love the course, but have no choice but to downvote it because of "this" and "that." This is your opinion, and it's your thought on a disc golf course. No shame in liking a low rated course.

-If I like a course, I'm going to focus more on the good stuff and be persuasive by pointing out what I loved about it.

-The kind of holes I like:

-Anything with flavor and defined. It'd take me forever to say all sorts of hole I love.

The three in Jacksonville. I have to update my courses played again at some point. I did a pretty big road trip the other week.

Oh actually its 4 I forgot about the new trashy one in wilmington. Arrowhead I think its called
You lucky guy you! Hopefully I will make it out there soon. As of now I am attempting to play the rest of the courses east of I-95 in NC. I have 3 more and I think I'll have them bagged by the end of the month. One day, somehow I will make my way to the mountains
Hey Benny, setting baskets at River St this weekend, and we will be playing Sat at 11:00 to finalize tee pad positions for the front nine. Your welcome to come out and play whenever......also the city wants us to keep it off line till the new year. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Haha, thanks, it's in my top 3 courses thus far. Super fun experience with great people. Glad we got some of my better throws on camera. :)
Just a heads up we now have a handicap league that is starting this Sat. and will be 1st and 3rd weekends of each month at Rankin. You should come check it out. More details at wwwGtownDGC.com.
oh lucky you dude. Im still yet to play it myself. Past Highland Hills and Glenn hilton I havent made it to any other mountain courses
New Bracketts is pretty cool but it will never be like the original course. Bradford is definatly a great course. Century in SC? your parents are gonna hate you when youre able to drive. Gas bill is gonna be large lol.
yea man Im back in Charlotte for thanksgiving so I played Bradford and new Bracketts today lol. As far as in Ahoskie area. Played All of the greenville courses which were solid and Rocky mount which had its moments. West Meadowbrook is likely the best new course Ive played since being up there. How bout yourself? still dreaming of Ashe county
yea the long tees make for a tough layout but the pin positions are the key. when the time changes for the winter the baskets get moved to shorter positions so that people can get in a quick round in the afternoon/evening. but when it goes back in the summer it makes for a funner and tougher layout I think you'd enjoy as your skills grow.
Recomend you play reedy again after the time changes when all of the pins are in the long position. The course is much more interesting and challenging in that layout than the winter layout which is kinda meh.
Thanks for the re-review on Goat. Its definitely a work in progress.

BTW: Hole 3's long pad is on the parking lot side. Its a righty flick water carry onto the island.
interesting. Ive heard a lot of mixed reviews on it. Some love it some hate it. Im looking forward to deciding for myself. I have a feeling Ill enjoy the course
I bet. Gonna play Bradley and Goat Island while im there. I just hope this awesome weather keeps up. It was absolutly perfect for the BO.
it went really well! had a nice turnout and everyone had a good time. Now I get to play a little more. May make a road trip to Gastonia next weekend
