Maximum allowable weight in tournament play in Japan is 159 grams. That is why you find lighter weight discs with Japan Open stamps. Checkhttp://www.herodiscusa.com/ for a pretty good selection of discs in lighter weights.
For the widest selection of discs go to Infinity's End. They have 2 locations in town, South Blvd at Tyvola Rd (Seneca Place shopping center), and Independence Blvd at Idlewild Rd (Independence Square shopping center.)
I also sent you an email.
We have plenty of back-up plans in place. The loss of Brackett's Bluff won't derail the 2012 Worlds, but it is a shame to miss out on one of the best courses disc golf has to offer.

Kilborne/Skillborne
Two course layouts using 2 tees and 2 baskets on most of the holes. Signage is being upgraded to reflect major changes (see below). The long course (Skillborne) will challenge pros while the short course challenges rec players. Good mix of long/short, right/left doglegs...

521 District Park
A good mix of hole types with open, wooded, water (doesn't really come into play on the short tees but the presence makes you think *see note below*) and woods-on-one-side holes make this a good beginner's course. The tight wooded holes are short to keep the frustration factor...
Plan on throwing later today.
Tomorrow we will be doing some course work. We are trying to get 2 courses completed this weekend. Almost all of the clearing is done on both and 14 poles are installed at one of them. We've got TWINS on the way!
