The human eyes and brain evolved to become really really good at recognizing and picking out human faces from the scenery. I assumed this is why I was taught to turn away if I was at least somewhat in the line of sight of someone putting.

I think I said it before, or something like it. A high percentage of the holes are both difficult and fair. If we could boil the down what to me should be the definition of great design, then that would be it.
Even though it plays down a road, I guess I don't see 1 as a filler hole. There is a decent amount going on there. A good shot is difficult but it is fair and you are rewarded if you execute. Also, I've never seen an actual vehicle on that road. I think it is just an old access road for the...
