    Nice to finally meet you! Congrats on your finish. I really should have played the course before this weekend. At least my number of strokes went down every round. I kept thinking 2 more rounds and I would have been in the 70's. I'm also very sore.

    Does that change your bag and how susceptible is the course to the effects of wind?

    That is so much good info. Thanks alot!!! I am really looking forward to this event. Sounds like I need my Roc, Mako, and Beat DX T-Bird for most of the holes!!! I will plan to play conservative. My confidence is up right now in putting so I hope that will play a part as well. Again, thank you so much for the help. I will let you know if I have some more questions.

    Hey DiscJunkie....I am heading out for the Azalea this weekend. I'm looking forward to it, it will be my first time playing. I happened to be reading an old thread on the Mako and I noticed you liked it. I recently added it to my bag and I am very happy. I don't turn it over like some people mentioned; I'm comfortable going for the basket with it and not fearing a huge blow-by. How do you think the Mako will hold up for my game at Castle? Also, any tips or advice for playing the course? Do you think it's a good idea to carry a thumber disc there as well?

    jrawk or somebody started a thread wanting to know the same thing that ended up in the landfill. I haven't read it but it prolly holds the answers.

    Anyway, checked out Kure Beach Friday, it's going to be a cool course. They've only got stakes in the ground that denote tees and basket locations but most of the fairways are cut out completely. Good variety, surprisingly good length and I think they're going to even work a little elevation into it. You can definitely tell it's being designed by a southpaw but it's not too bad.

    I enjoyed getting to meet up with you today, sorry that a round didn't get to work out. There will be more time later. I didn't feel it at the time, but my knee is now throbbing from my incident on 4. Oy Vey!
