Appreciate the info! I generally assume courses used for big events are closed to the public 5-7 days before the event but this is a bit earlier than that. Hard to imagine that baskets will get pulled on 7/31 and put back in a few weeks later.
I’ll give it a go. Worst case I can swing by...
Apologies if this has been covered but I’m still figuring out how to use this new platform. I’m wanting to play Toboggan for the first time either Aug 9 or 10. Kensington website says it closes from 7/31 to September. Is that truly the case? Think I can squeeze a round in on those dates...
apologies if this has already been discussed but it's hard enough already to navigate the site. I can't seem to select (hyperlink to course) courses on the map. I want to add some courses to my courses played but in the map, there's no link to the course selected. I also can't get a link to...
Rodney is killing it. I've played just about all the courses he's recently reviewed and I wholeheartedly agree with his assessments. Nice work on the Rock River review too!

Flat open ball golf course conversion right off the HWY
This is a disc golf course bagger's delight: a quality course that is just a few seconds from the highway (course actually backs up to the interstate) that will offer a quick, easy-going round with plenty of challenge despite the open and...
Cass Benton is a good choice closer to the airport but I'd drive just a little farther to check out the stellar Kensington Blue/Green courses. Can't go wrong with Hudson or Independence but those are a little farther. As for the north side of Detroit, I was particularly charmed with River...

Well worth the visit
It's been 7 years since the last review so figured I'd let the world know what's new at River Bends. In general, this place is fun and has multiple signature holes to enjoy: 10 with the big downhill drop overlooking the beautiful river, 15 with the snaking river water...
Just finished up the Jomez coverage plus some FPO on GK Pro. Wow! Once again, Idlewild Open delivered as it has every time they've run this tourney since 2017. Lots of wild shots and drama.
Robinson's weekend was incredible. P McB fire round was nuts! Dickerson R3 holes 13-16 was insane...
I guess they yanked all those perfectly good Discatchers for these Veterans? I suppose this was purely due to the sponsorship but curious if it will be temporary. Anybody know the deets here?
Team Mando over here. Here's my 2 cents.
I live in Dave Greenwell country where most (maybe all) of his course designs have a few mandos. Some are for safety that allow a some holes to exist in close proximity and some are there to force the intended shot. In both cases, these mandos...
New York Times picked this up

Said first death via gator attack in FL since 2019, which is surprising to me. Sadly it looks like they're gonna kill the gator.
I learned about...
Ahh, maybe it was 11 I was thinking of. I did a few Gulf Coast Charity tourneys the past few years and Taylor was always one of the courses. My group accidentally skipped this hole in our first practice round as we saw 12s tee right after 10s basket.
Most of the drive is over water with the...
