I really enjoy playing tournaments. For all the reasons everyone has listed is what makes tournament rounds so much more difficult than rec rounds. When you can concentrate and block everything out and pure a shot and or put together a great round during a tournament it's way more fulfilling...
I also would say Lakewood Hills however I'm a bit biased on that. Other courses would be Kaposia, Oakwood, CP Adams, The Valley, Acorn Park (if you want to work on your putter tosses). With a little extra drive (45 minutes) you could hit Blue Ribbon Pines which I would say would be the one...
Was just out there this past weekend. I have to say it was in the best shape I'd seen it. I didn't stay at the the complex so I can't comment on the housing. Had a great time as usual. Thanks for the hard work by those involved keeping Highbridge up. I can't imagine how much work that is.
