How much for Granite and Bear? Too much for me I know.... but F*** those are two of the most epic courses in existence at the current time. Nothing hits like the rolling fairways and hills of Granite and the long grueling woods of Bear.
This hits in the gut. My buddies and I from the Hurley WI/Ironwood MI area are gonna be hurting from this one.... most of us have been season pass holders since MM took over the place. Just got my season pass bag tag this weekend....
If one of the big DG entities like what was mentioned earlier...
I wonder if it has something to do with the pandemic. Went to Blue Ribbon Pines about a month ago and their shelves looked like they left a lot to be desired. I've heard word of mouth rumors of many places being low inventory, and the reason they gave was - the pandemic.
Just dropping by to announce that I just upped my review of The Bear course by a full disc to a 4.5. Played it last week and it is so clean and pristine, and so beautiful. That plus the fact that they got new orange Prodigy baskets the day after I played, really brings me to feel like this is...

Beauty - This course is one of the most scenic courses on the property, if not the most. Playing along steep ridges on the northeastern side of the property, you will get probably the best views that all of Highbridge has to offer. At one point, you can get a...

From Friday - nothing like playing a freshly mowed Gold - best shape this course has ever been in.
Hole 3 halfway through, looking back to tee and up to basket.

Challenging, fun and quick, but run down
Challenge - this course is mostly putter shots, with some mids here and there. I didn't use a single driver my entire round, but still had to execute precise throws to navigate very very tight woods fairways. The little valleys and steep little hillsides...

Good design lost in the static
Design - the best quality of this course. The trees/terrain was used very well. There's not a whole lot to work with here; the holes play very well for the sub-par land provided. Big open tee areas funnel to tree grove greens on the edge of the woodline, often with...

Beautiful little 18
Beautiful landscaping and maintenance
Challenging left right and straight shots, with many trees to provide some need for technical throws
A couple elevated baskets
Concrete teepads
Good directions for next tees (except for after hole 9 going to 10)
Very short (no big...
