    Beating the Summer Heat

First off, I hate the heat and humidity. It just sucks the life out of you! As for the cotton and dri-fit debate, Im dri-fit all the way. It seems to breathe well enough for me and even when its soaked it doesnt have that awful heavy feeling a cotton tee does. I always just drink a ton of water...

Summer in Oklahoma - Headband recommendations?

As someone who sweats a ton, I've never had much luck with any type of headband. My hats get soaked, thin bandanas get drenched quickly, and thicker ones just retain even more heat. If its toasty out, I just bring along a nice absorbent towel/rag (just dont mix it up with your disc towel)

The bag of an aspiring minimalist

When I was big into powerlifting I used to cut off and file down my callouses. Having them get caught on something and ripped off isn't very pleasant...

Favorite Pandora stations to disc golf to

I dont really use Pandora anymore, but the Ratatat station used to be my go to for dg. These days it's hit or miss if I listen to music at all. I often play alone and my local course is typically pretty empty which makes it nice and quiet. If I've had a stressful day I like to just listen to...

Inverse, Double Mando or Alternate Mandos

So in the OP, Im imagining a relatively open hole and his idea is to force a line around two centrally located trees instead of through them because (I assume) the hole is an almost guaranteed birdie. For all I know, the hole is incredibly boring and OPs idea makes it more enjoyable instead of a...

    [Other] Collector discs

I only have two hangers at home. One is a Teebird with a Ballast Point brewery stamp (my favorite), and the other is a fresh white Envy with a lion stamp that looks so clean I don't even want to throw it. Much better decorations than a $30 generic print of some boring art IMO

Review by PureAngus in course Fore Palms DGC

4.00 star(s) Really Enjoyable! I was in Jacksonville on business and after reading a few reviews on courses near my hotel, I decided to check out Fore Palms and I'm glad I did! The course is settled in a large and well maintained park and all the locals I ran into seemed very friendly. Even though there was...

    Birdie Fuel Coffee Co.

I have a small hot air roaster which is great for personal use but even making a 5lb bag to gift someone can get daunting... I'll definitely give the birdie fuel a try though:thmbup: Btw, the picture of the bird on the half cup/basket is awesome

    Birdie Fuel Coffee Co.

As a home roaster and dg addict, I love this idea!

    Merrell Moab Vent VS. Terrex

I've been using the Moab for quite a while but recently got a pair of Terrex since I found them on sale. Its a bit hard for me to see any huge differences as I consider them both a great pair of shoes. The Terrex have great traction on the teepad, and while I've yet to wear them in nasty...

    TD requirement for printed material?

Thats awesome of you. Don't let one iffy experience ruin the area for out-of towners and if you had issues this tourney, just find out what went wrong/could be avoided and be a part of a fix next year

Disc Golf - The Unwashed Masses

I like to respect other players and the rules of the game, but I just consider it being a good dude rather than "disc golf etiquette". I've witnessed a lot of other people who behave differently usually have the mentality of "I wouldn't care if you did xyz while I play so whats the big deal if I...

    2Tx2B=4C?

To answer the question in the OP, I consider 2T/2B a multiple layout course. When I played at Morley in California, they have 1T/1B but the pin can be in like 8 different locations depending on the week. It was cool but it took a solid minute or two of reading the tee sign and looking around to...

Calluses on fingers - how do you deal with them?

When I was really into powerlifting I used to shave my callouses off with a razorblade and then sand off the rough edges. I wouldn't go down to the soft, fresh, pink skin but it was much nicer just cutting off about 90% of the callous eevery week or two than having it get ripped off.

    [Latitude] Latitude 64 Gobi midrange

My favorite part was when AJ commented on Tobi grabbing his Gobi from OB (cant remember which hole it was on). Little off topic from the thread but that was the first video I'v'e seen with AJ doing commentary and I really enjoyed it.
