Decent course
Tee pads were adequate on every hole. Signage was mostly good. The course flowed well from hole to hole so locating the next tee was never a problem. A nice mix of shorts/longs and left/right shots required does not really favor any particular style.
Overall a good course if...

Too much for me. :-(
A long and challenging course layout will build your shot making skills if you play here consistently. It's cool and easy to differentiate between the original course and the gold course. I travelled 3 hours north to play it with my buddies based on the positive press...

Great stuff!
Very well maintained. Mowed fairways and two different stages of rough on many holes. Tee pads have an arrow in the runoff area that points to the pin - how cool is that? Trashcans and benches everywhere. Well maintained by people who obviously care about disc golf.

Sounds good! My neighbors probably think I'm a weirdo anyway. I play long toss with the kids every day to work the approach...I'll try some of it LHBH. Why not?
Thank you for the advice. My plan is to get out there and throw the Dart (putter), Roc, and Shark for a while until I can get the accuracy and form I want. Back in the day, the easy (and in retrospect, bad for me) way to get more distance off the tee was 'buy a faster disc'. For example, I...
I forgot to mention...I throw pretty much everything in the 171 to 175g weights only because that's what I got started with. Could it be that I'm throwing plastic that is too heavy, and would lower weight discs make it easier to learn proper form and throwing technique?
I've been playing off and on for quite a few years now, but have really begun to get serious in the last year or so as far as improving my game. I've played hundreds of rounds, just not very well...see below. ;)
As background, when I started there were very few courses, very few discs, and...

Kicked my butt
Nice mix of lefty/righty shots. Plenty of shade in the woods to take a break from the sun. Most holes have very generously sized concrete tee pads. Hole 10 is just awesome for emptying your bag and trying to get some max D. Overall a nice looking course. Water/swamp in play...
Good analogy and makes sense!
The Boss IMO is noticeably less sensitive to nose angle than the Groove. I've thrown both a good bit over the last 3 weeks and honestly I prefer the Boss. Keep in mind I'm not a pro and I don't play one on TV. Not even close! ;)
I threw it almost exclusively last weekend and it climbs almost too much for me. So I put it away and threw something else for the remaining games as well.
I'll come back to it when I'm better at controlling the nose angle.

Nice layout and challenging for both open fairway shots and woods shots. Friendly locals. Good signage to direct you, showing all tee boxes and pin positions for every hole. Awesome flags with hole #/wind speed and direction indicators on every pin. Mowed fairways are always welcome!

Thanks guys. I played all those courses with the OP. UW Parkside was great but we were headed up to see a Brewers game at the time. We'll probably play it again this year, or something similar.
Whitechocolate, great post. Any other suggestions from anyone? We'll have multiple days to disc...
