I have a couple of Rivers and I like them for the most part. I just seem to have trouble controlling the flight. Distance is consistent but for me they might go dead straight, fade left or turn right. I'm sure that is due to my form but I don't have that problem (as much) with other discs. I...
I've actually been thinking about adding something pretty stable but more for strong headwinds than hyzers. I guess a Firebird would work for both of those situations. Would a Predator fill that slot as well?
I noticed in my OP that I listed a Fuse twice by mistake. Third line should read...
Everyone,
Below is what I'm currently carrying in the bag. I will occasionally make temporary adjustments if it is really windy or a very short course but this is the nuts of my bag (pun intended) Have a look and tell me what you think.
I am RHBH and max distance is consistently about...

Large concrete tee pads, great signs. I'm a newer player and this course is probably a little much for my skill level but it still seems like a very fair although challenging course. Lots of trees and water on several holes plus a good variety of long and short holes. Also, I played in the...

Tee pads and signs are great and course is part of a large park with the much more difficult Blackhawk course next door. Mostly open and flat with a couple of very long holes this course is a good course for less experienced players to work on thier game without too much fear of losing a disc...
This is great info. I've been struggling with nose angle issue for several weeks and i think this will help me a lot. I'm prone to the wrist issue that Jen's pic illustrates so I have to really concentrate on that but Im pretty sure the wrist is only one of my problems.
Pretty sure I need...
I have a GL Fuse that I've been using for about 3 weeks and so far I really like it. It will turn over but only when I want it to and it has very little fade at the end when thrown straight. I am using it more as I have gotten used to it and it is now my go to disc for most shots under 250'...
I asked a local TD about this last night and he said that here in OK ADV Masters usually plays around Intermediate, consistent with what Talbot and adh said above. I'm going to give it a try and see what happens. Thanks for the input everyone.
Good point about playing with the same people, that could be good or bad I guess. I've only played in a couple of tournaments but I plan to play several this year and even though I've enjoyed playing in the rec and intermediate divisions I'm curious about the masters divisions.
Hopefully a TD...
I'm a little confused about masters player divisions. I'm 48 and wondering if I should try playing with other old guys or keep watching the young guys out drive me.
First, are the masters divisions strictly about age? The pdga chart defines the three masters divisions by birth year only but...
Great input guys. Thanks for taking the time to help me out, I really appreciate it.
I think I already own most of the discs that have been mentioned so it's just a matter of deciding which ones to start with and then how long they stay in the bag if I don't love them. I think forcing...
