Round notes:2nd round with, and edged out by, Tom O'D (+1, a great comeback for him). Dang! 16 UE (11 + 5)...maybe a bit tired in the arm (and brain) on 2nd round...but rallied in the final 9 to stay Even. Great day for DG, we played quickly, even taking some multiple throws on a few holes.

Round notes:Going to get Par here soon! 1st of two rounds with Tom O'D (+12). Coming off a cold, I didn't feel strong, but did feel loose (enough). 13 UE (12 + 1 missed putt), which is an improvement. Interesting how one bad throw (a drive) can lead to another--lapse in concentration! Went on a bit of a slump (T O'D too) in "mid 9"...both of us thinking, "I want another crack at this!).

Round notes:2nd, partial round, with Kyran (-1) and Dan (+4). We cut the round short because of time...I was getting chilled because of being kind of hot and no wind protection. 6 UE (3 + 3p), but may have been sloppy in recording...

Round notes:2nd visit here...shaved a stroke to edge Dan (+5) by one. Kyran, solid as always, carded a -3. Hooked up with Chris (LazyBoys) for some of the round and "the other Dan" last 6 or so holes. Longgggg round, about 3 hours. Forgot my windbreaker and got sore throat afterwards. 12 UE (11 + 1) so putting was on, if not in full brain mode. Had more trouble on upshots than drives....SHOULD be more solid on those as distance is not as much a factor.

Round notes:First round here at the new DW 27. Very nice layout and course. Met Tom O'D. (+7) (from Cold Turkey Tourney) for first go at it. Also played with Kyran (-1) and Chris LZB (-1). Didn't mark them all on card, but had at least 6 top of basket misses and a few more "metal" so feel par is in my near future. UE (Unforced Errors) at 17 (11 on drive and upshots + 6 missed puts), I look forward to reducing that number by bringing more awareness of how it impacts my round(s). Obvious, yet, but anything to help increase FOCUS will be helpful!

Round notes:2nd round with Dan (-5, his best to date!). Again with too many UE (11+5) and some of those just sloppy or rushed (should be an EASY fix, with focus). Great to be back playing after a week of back issues.

Round notes:Thought Dretzka would be closed or crowded so came here for a few. With Dan (+2). First time I started keeping track of UE (Unforced Errors) in either Drive of Upshot, didn't specify on this day (started that on Dec 5), but was telling to see how those missed lines affect the score. It's NOT more distance that will shave strokes (but that will help, someday) but making the shots I'm capable of. UE 17 (15 on Drive and Upshot, 2 missed putts). Whoa!

Round notes:2nd round of Cold Turkey VII. Was thinking it would be easy to improve my score from round #1, but was so stiff pre-round and during that I gave up a lot of distance on drives and my lines were way off = tree city (of which I didn't record all of them on notes)! (and the darn 2-putts). On card with Steve (again) (+10), and Scott "Space Cadet" (+6) who I noticed had a VERY focused putting delivery. I sunk a 28' for a very much better start, but 2 2-putts in 2 of next three holes erased that...Enjoyed the whole experience but was very disappointed in my body's condition. Didn't drink any beer that day, had good caloric energy boosts, but have to get more consistent to improve my scores.

Round notes:First round of the Cold Turkey VII. I played ADV Masters (there was only one other ADV GM signed up so we combined for 10 total). Drove with Drew (INT) and we we go there early 7:20 am, SO EXCITED to be playing DG all day long. I was disappointed to be stiff and sore this day, but still felt ready to play. Some of my releases and lines were "best ever" for me, but caught twigs, branches (and yes, a few solid trunks). On 18, 1ST Throw hit 1ST tree and also was stuck in tree (JUST under 2 meters). Putting was only so-so today and 1st round upshots were not dialed in. Funny (not!) how the excitement faded as I entered scramble mode! Did sink a few long ones and had a handful of very smart throws (middle of fairway on the tunnel holes)...overall, sub-par round (for ME, judging performance, not the score). On card with Tom O'Donnell (+3), Steve (+12), and Jeff, an Am (+12). Way too many 2-putts and Way too many trees! Also hit the rim a lot...The "improvement" plan is not comp

Round notes:2nd round today and 5th pre-tourney round in November. Tied with Drew (+13), and had a few "outliers" that were round-killers. Still, love this course! Weather was perfect. Maybe I was tired, because I had only 1 2-putt marked on card (unlikely!).
