When should I start incorporating run-ups?

Yeah, told you I haven't played much. :P I'd certainly take an ace too though! :D

When should I start incorporating run-ups?

This is exactly what I need to hear. I'm super excited to get back out there Saturday and give the simple X-step a shot. Here's hoping for my second birdie ever! (First one came on a 220'-ish hole with a dogleg to the left. I cheated on that hole and threw a disc I'm technically not supposed to...

When should I start incorporating run-ups?

Perfect, I'm going to just add a simple x-step and see how that works. I think the added weight shift would be good for the throw, and it shouldn't affect control much since I'm not building up a ton of wobble with a dedicated run-up. Thanks much.

When should I start incorporating run-ups?

Thanks for the reply. The run-up I was referring to is the 4-step x-step, is this the run-up that has been eschewed for a simple x-step and throw?

When should I start incorporating run-ups?

Just getting back into the game after having our baby at the end of 2012. Love her to death, but we haven't had the time to play while she was so little. Now that she's big enough to go with us and ride around the park in her stroller, my wife and I are trying to get back to playing at least...

Review by The D.K. in course Tatum Trails DGC

3.00 star(s) The perfect home course for the Hattiesburg Area - No water (Which could be considered a minus for more advanced players), which means I won't be losing too many discs - Decent hole lengths, nice variance from short to long - Well marked course - Nice variance between open and wooded holes -...

How do you think I should progress with my discs?

onemilemore: I've been thinking about a Teebird as well. Our Play It Again has an X-Out Star Teebird for about $11, but I didn't have the money at the time. @B-mart: The Pro-D Buzzz was new, but yes, the Z was used and you'll never believe the tag on it: Lowgrade Misc Disc $4.99. Okay, okay...

How do you think I should progress with my discs?

I'm gonna give it a fair shot, but I have heard many bad things about it.

How do you think I should progress with my discs?

@mashnut: Thanks for the input. Aviar/Magnet, Buzzz D and Z, Stingray, and Leopard seems like a nice set up. 4 molds should make for a lot of having to work my discs rather than picking a disc for each shot. @oklahyzer: Thanks a ton for the tips. I'll be hitting the fields soon. I figured...

How do you think I should progress with my discs?

Hi guys. First post. I'm about a month into my experience with disc golf and so far I love it. I've amassed a fairly decent collection of mostly used discs from the bottom rack at Play It Again. I was just wondering what you guys thought of the ones I have, which ones should I start with (say a...
