    Army surplus straps

Those "H" and "Y" straps are used on what is referred to as "web gear." It's the combat suspenders you see soldiers wearing that attach to a web belt that you clip holsters, ammo pouches, first aid kids, canteen, etc. to. The straps attach to the belt and suspend the heavy web belt. They're made...

    [Discraft] Glide and Stratus?

The TL is what I use for those types of short shots where I want control and don't want to have to put a lot on it. Just a little flat flip, even a slight hyzer with a beat TL, will flip it straight as an arrow. You'd be surprised how accurate you can be with that disc.

Review by thebigE in course University of South Alabama - Old Layout

4.00 star(s) Nice, real nice Beautiful, well maintained course on a college campus, good mix of holes that require a variety of throws. Water in play on a couple holes, pretty rough shule in pay on a lot of others. This course was really well-designed with absolutely no bad holes. You start out with a shorty...

Review by thebigE in course Springhill Hobbit DGC

3.50 star(s) Freakin' brutal Quite simply, the Hobbit will kill you if you're not ready for it. It is so different from any other course in Mobile that even the locals have trouble mastering it. First of all, a lot of the hoels have elevation in play, which is good since most of our courses here do not have...

Review by thebigE in course Municipal Gold DGC

3.50 star(s) Play it! Nice for a short play, or if you want to partner it with the Langan course across the lake, it makes a 28 hole complex. Many of the holes are well-conceived and executed. Lots of tricky angles and elevation. The first hole is tricky because the fairway (if you want to call it that)...

Review by thebigE in course Langan Park - Original

4.50 star(s) The best course in the MOB I got my start at Langan Park, also known as Muni or Municipal Park to local. This course is hands down the best in Mobile, which has a great variety of 11 courses within 30-45 minutes of my home. This is the course I play most often, because it is the total package of...

Review by thebigE in course Lake Point Park - Old Layout

2.00 star(s) Whoa shawty! I'm from Mobile, which is flat and coastal, so playing this hilly course was pretty cool. It's just a pitch and putt, with only a couple of challenging holes, but it's still pretty fun. Everything is well marked for out of towners, and the scenery just doesn't get any better: right...

Review by thebigE in course Cottage Hill Park

4.00 star(s) You'll pull your hair out at this beast! Cottage Hill is one of the most difficult courses around for my game (I've been playing 5 years, mid-range arm, pretty scrappy in terms of variety of shots I throw). Pros love this course because it is such a test. Please don't take a beginner to this...

Review by thebigE in course Chickasaw Community Park

3.50 star(s) Fun for starters One of the few courses in the Mobile area that features a little elevation, located in a nice quiet neighborhood with laid back locals. This is one of the first courses I ever played, and it is a good throw on a sunny day. The centerpiece of this course is a creek that runs the...

Review by thebigE in course Chickasabogue County Park - Original

3.50 star(s) Fun in the winter This is a great course for all skill levels that really helps players work on accuracy and the short game. Beginners will appreciate the shorter distances on the majority of the front 9, though the fact that the fairways are pretty narrow in spots and surrounded by pretty thick...
