A squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag is fast and bulbous, got me?

    Other info

My philosophy of Course Ratings: Sorry, I don't have an objective course review strategy. I play 'em and wing it.

My background is in parks and recreation, so I tend to have a better handle on public courses and how they fit into an overall park design. I'm nit-picky on conflicts with other park uses and play-ability (flow) as opposed to someone who is just evaluating the shots.

I'm not a very good golfer so things like the challenge level of a top-tier course isn't really my strong suit. I can look at things like variety of shot types, variety of distances, etc., but I'm not really sure for example if a hole is a par 4 or a par 5. Like I said, I just take my perception and wing it.

As a result, I really don't review courses I consider to be a "3" or over after I play them once. Better courses I like to play 3-4 times in a variety of weather to get a better feel for the design.

    YO-

Definitely want to pick up one of those shirts at that price!!!!

Sign me up for a large.

You gonna be up in Chiland around x-mas too this year?
Thanks bro it just updated. I was just telling my fin ace, that working toward our Masters Degree in Strategic Leadership has made me fall way behind on my reviews too. I will catch up eventually.
Playing one of Rolla's courses for the first time Sat. 10/15/2011. Don't know which to try first?
Have you heard any info on the Ozark Mountain Open supposted to happen OCT 22, 23, 2011? Some Saint Louis guys are trying to plan that weekend to come down early and play the Lions Club and two days at OMO.
Excuse me, Mr. Putt...I have a very stupid question that I prefer not to go PUBLIC...I have tried making a trade for my Surge SS three times and the people keep disappearing on me. They say sure, but when I ask for info or give my phone number to set up a time to meet...Poof! Gone...

I feel like I am looked at like a jerk when I re-post the same freaking disc over and over again. I am not trying to TRICK anyone or ask for anything out of the ordinary...at least I don't think my accepting a trade posed to me was unfair. I want a GOOD reputation, not a bad one.

Could you advise me of my next step? Re-post a trade, wait a week, forget about trading and turn them into pet food bowls...(Kidding)...
Yes sir we are! I still been keeping up with y'all rolla folks. I know I wont be able to make the ace race but I maybe able to make the Ozark Open. If you get the info on that I would love to have it. Hope all is well with you and the family.
I just revoted. And to think I hadn't even had any beer yet at that point. It sounds like you guys had a good time out there.
Hey, I accidentally thumbed down your Highland Park review. I meant to thumb it up. Edit that thang or something so I can revote.
Very small ink. 10 characters along inner rim. Other than that only Innova detail text molded. Thanks again man, I hope I didn't break etiquette, just not recieving any response in the 'identify' thread.

I was told you would be the person to identify this disc. I am attempting to gauge its value for a trade. I was told it is rare. Thanks a ton in advance.

Ah, missed the humor in that. I getcha now! :D

*eyes gloss over at dg references I don't get*

    ;)
    Okay, now I'M confused. <---See? :D

I thought you had posted a Slits video in the recommendation thread. The Slits were a dub reggae influenced (hence the PiL connection)all female post-punk band that came out of the band Flowers of Romance (not the PiL album), but the band with Sid Vicious, Viv Albertine (Slits), and Keith Levene (Clash and later, PiL). Members from the Slits later formed the Raincoats.

You'd probably REALLY dig the Slits...check out Cut if you can.

I don't know who told you about Metal Box/Second Edition, but they were dead wrong. Metal Box has the superior sound due to the wider grooves (and hence, fuller sound) of the 45's. Second Edition is a repressing (sans the prohibitively expensive metal canister) of the same album...only difference being one is on 3 45's, the other on 2 LPs. Other than that, EXACT same album.
Metal Box = Second Edition. 2nd Edition was the regular ol' gatesleeved double LP version of the original Metal Tin version that contained the same music on 3 45's (to better maintain Wobble's bass tone).

Separately, I've been listening a lot to The Slit's album cut, upon which Budgie drummed as a studio hand, before Palmolive joined. He also is the Banshees drummer. His drumming is dreamy.

    :p

    Make sense?
So I've come around on Metal Box. I can't stop listening to that and the Slit's Cut. Budgie has become probably my favorite drummer, between that Slits album and John McGeoch era Banshees.

I'm telling you because nobody else cares. :|
