FWIW I was at Rum Village December 9th last year on hole #4 when a transvestite was shot and killed in the neighborhood across the street. I actually waved at the cops and wondered what was going on. Maybe I'm a fatalist, but I pay taxes that support that park, so I'm going to throw there...

driving a million miles is great, but every seasoned veteran I've asked has told me it all means squat if you can't putt. 2 years ago i picked a tree in my back yard, measured out to 50 feet, cracked a beer and started putting. Makes a difference, trust me.

$2 to play. Front 9 has interesting and challenging elevation use as well as risk/reward affected by vegetation and wind. Most other players and locals are agreeable and unobtrusive with a FEW EXCEPTIONS. Meager Pro shop with small variety of Innova discs. Vary...

She's My Chubby Girlfriend
I absolutely love this course and as a beginner it has taught me the values of having more in my bag then a bunch of drivers. Yes, you can probably play the whole course with a putter, but practicing a heavy S-curve while threading the needle in a heavily wooded area...
Ha! At least you get to play all the awesome courses in Dallas AND pee in their bushes. My wife is from Rockwall and my in-laws gave me static the last time we were down there so I didn't get to throw. Sorry, jealousy creates haters. I get to play Flip City in Michigan tho.
