    DGCR Aces 2019

I hit my first ever ace back in April on a temp course at Marshall University. Really short hole (around 200'), threw a Plasma Theory dead straight and nailed the ace. Took home the ace pool too ;-)

Archer vs Arrow: The End of a Debate?

Paul playing disc golf with things other than discs - and shooting something like +5. It ain't the arrows for this guy. Once you get to a certain level, it's not the equipment. I will say that equipment can make a difference in an am's game, and maybe even some pros, but not at the elite...

    Hey PMcBeth- Thanks a lot!

The Hornet is the one mold that MVP/Axiom hasn't pushed out of my bag, and I'd LOVE to see a revival.

    Has Will Schusterick peaked?

I hope to one day be as washed up as Will Shusterick is ....

    Dual Monitor Wallpaper

You need to find an image that is the width of both monitors, then all you do is set the image to tile when you set up wallpaper, and you're good. With mine, I've got 1680x1050 on both monitors, so I need an image that's 3360x1050 to cover both. The problem is finding disc golf images that...

    Dual Monitor Wallpaper

I REALLY want some disc golf wallpaper for my dual monitor setup. Does anybody have anything that's around 3360x1050 (or could scale to that size)? Everything I have found so far is for single monitors, and those look really bad when you scale them.

Alas poor MacBeth, we hardly knew ye

That's the thing that I loved about watching the third round. I almost didn't, thinking that Paul would just be protecting his lead all the way, but he went after everything, it seemed like. I've often thought that coasting for the win was a bit disrespectful of the competition - "You're not...

Alas poor MacBeth, we hardly knew ye

I know, right? And only 89% fairways hit! He missed one out of every ten fairways, people! How can people say this guy is any good anymore? :D

    2018 Sula Open

I don't understand the motivation a touring pro would have to try and tank his ratings by playing a bad round. They're not in a ratings protecting division, so he's not trying to sandbag.

    Talent Out Pacing The Money?

Advertisers would rather have their message in front of 100 committed viewers that want to support sponsors that support their sport than 1,000 apathetic viewers that aren't paying attention to commercials at all. It's more about response rate than viewcount. This is where NASCAR does so well...

    The Disc Golf "Grand Slam"

I hope not. My daughter used to dance with a competition team. The awards that were given out at those things were First place, Top First place, and Elite Top First place. Always seemed stupid to me, like we're trying to preserve people's self esteem by calling everyone a first place winner...

Lost Disc Mega Thread: Post your lost disc questions and stories here.

Left my Axis on the course at Socastee (Myrtle Beach) Friday because the skeeters chased me off (I normally have bug spray in my bag, but for some reason it's not there anymore!). Got two texts and a phone call from a guy who found it. He was staying in northern Myrtle Beach, and I was staying...

Review by wkelly42 in course Mint Hill Park

3.00 star(s) Warm-up course, Beginner's Paradise Great challenge for beginners - short, but not a pitch and putt course. Well marked, easy to navigate. There was one tee sign down (I think it was on 8 or 9), but for the most part this is an easy course to play and find your way around. Great warm-up or...

Review by wkelly42 in course The Scrapyard

4.00 star(s) Welcome Shade on a Hot Day GREAT tree canopy, for summer days in the 90s. Makes you hit those lines - great practice if you're inconsistent like I am. Really pretty multi-use park where other activities don't interfere with the disc golf course at all. Challenging layout that still gives you the...

MVP Feedback Thread - We would love to hear from you.

I pretty much carry a full bag of MVP/Axiom (can't get rid of my Leopard, my Blizzard Boss, or my Hornet yet!), AND I have the Nucleus bag. I love the discs, but I REALLY want a beefy midrange. I'm going to give the Vector a shot this year, but I'm not sure it's what I am looking for. I like my...
