Hey Man! Doing well, just heading to Oregon Coast to hang out with family for a week. Ana is coming up from Colorado, we will prob play a round while she is up. How are things with you? Still living the dream with your own course?
Tim, Unfortunately, we won't be in town long enough to make it to Hidden Ridge. Sat night, we're headed to The 'Burgh to catch a game at PNC and play a few courses out that way.
We're making up for the fact that we couldn't do our Baseball/DG road trip in 2020, by hitting 2 ballparks this year.
Good chance I'll be driving to FL this X-mass. I haven't mapped out my itinerary, but...
.
If you're accepting visitors around the holidays, and weather permitting, Ithink I would like to hit Hidden Ridge on the way down, or maybe on my northbound return.
Completely understand if that timing isn't an option for you. The holidays can be full of other obligations.
Just seeing what you thought about the possibility.
Hey Tim. We are going to leave in around 1 ish. Don't know if you'll get this in time... But do you still have some wizards for sale? If so I'd get one off of you. If you don't get this before I head out I'll get one mailed to me when I get home. Thanks again. I'll be back next year uninjured!
Agreed. It was great to meet you. You really have created something special south of town. Thank you for opening the course up for us. Will definitely be back.
Tim, glad I got to meet you. Too bad we didn't have a chance to play together, or even chat a bit. So, what'd you think about Iffy? I've never played a course with such relentless elevation.
Hoping to see you sometime this year. Outlaw down in Kentucky, end of Sept., if you want to put that on your possible long weekend list. Spring adventure focusing on Texas this year, I believe. Not sure if Outlaw event (which might end up being a week vacation for me total) could allow a journey in your direction. Great to see things are going well in the AMA thread.
I went to the Disc Golf Course Designers conference in 2014, but I haven't been to any of Houck's design seminars. Ask Harr0140, he went to the first one Houck did in the Catskills and is considering going to the next one at the IDGC.
Just seen in Executing the Dream thread about your land purchase, VERY NICE.:thmbup: Look forward to discussing course design as well as other things in a few days.
Just a bit of interesting info for you. The thread regarding mistakes, created by Juke, was primarily in reference to a course he and another were in the process of completing. Guess what, the "other" will be one of your guests coming up; end of March.
You're very welcome; thanks again for you hospitality and sending back the firechicken. I don't remember if we have each other's emails? If so, shoot me and email and I'll pass along some intriging info to you. If not, shoot me yours in a PM.
