Well dang, it has been a minute.. dgcr dropped off my map when they "upgraded" (I don't care for it.. yet, I guess, specifically on my phone-maybe I need the app?).
Anyway... first sanctioned event coming up this Sunday - at highbridge blueberry. pretty excited, I like the course a lot. Low...
Lake Superior Open this weekend. Tee times Fri/Sat/Sun. Pretty stoked. Feeling decent about my game lately. Been pretty intentional with my practice, and just doing scoring rounds, bringing extra discs to practice shots, playing from different landing zones. Just want to play well. Bag will look...
not gunna lie, I think the red/black might be my favorite of the bunch. The Grips I got are black orange, and I like the contrast. The Vinny color way isn’t my favorite.
Sabres fan, eh? Aren’t they the classic Blue and yellow now??🤪
Cool. I don’t hate the black and red, but my other bags (Grip B and C) are both orange, so I’d likely head in that direction. I guess time will tell, just don’t know how much time!
I assume not til after worlds, since they have that special edition one for worlds.
Played in the tourney I mentioned in post above. Went pretty poorly.
Basically took the month of July off of competitive DG. When I got out to play, it was to practice. I tend to go out and always want to “keep score” but I avoided that and worked on various shots and such. Putted a bunch...
Kinda diggin the Lore look and price point.
No interest in the legend for its size. I’ve been looking for more a Grip B replacement, and the new lore may be something I invest in.
This “strategy” sounds quite expensive.
Curious the financial breakdown of doing “this” versus the litigations. Is it really cheaper to spread their resources thin like this? Does this correlate to “having more resources to grow the sport”?
I honestly don’t know. Just curious.
Well… ever since I shot that 1000+ rated round, I’ve been averaging somewhere in the ~930 range my last few tourney rounds. Quite frustrating honestly.
It’s made me take a step back a bit with my bag. Aside from poor play, I do feel a bit better with my FH game. Honestly, I just slowed my...
Rekos are dope. One of my fav throwing putters in K1.
Honestly, I like them because they are a bit less glidey as compared to something like a Proxy; or at least I seem to overshoot things less with the reko versus a proxy.
I just wish I jived with putting with them, in either K3 plastic. But...
Been perusing the interwebs, in search for something that will bridge the gap between the Trespass and Enforcer, that also maintains that comfortable shallow feel.
Considering things like the Gateway (retooled) Speed Demon, and Elite Z Zeus (they are in stock in places, and seems like they are...

Did some digging into this, and now I am intrigued. I’ve been considering something a tad more stable than the K1 Reko.
Is the Sea Otter actually shallow? How’s the dome?
I also bag the Reko. I find it to feel like a 3 speed, but it is “chunky/clunky/less glidey” enough to fly a little slower and fly not as far as something like the proxy.
I personally feel like K3 molds more puddle topped and shallower, but K1 and K3 both feel and fly great!
If you are on the market for an US premium putter, the PA-5 has been so much fun to throw. I have two in 400. Flippy and touchy, but great for BH shots in the woods that fly like a FH, and also hyzer flips that slowly and continuously drift to the right the whole time. Very modern, shallow feel.
Been tossing a CN Crave a bit early this year. Originally I wanted something to fill the gap between the Truth and Undertaker. This ain’t it. Crave flies just as far as the undertaker, but on a tighter line. That said, it’s making me consider dropping undertakers, which is crazy to say, as I’ve...
The good = today. Played my second tourney of the year. Conditions for the day in Chisholm: felt like ~15 degrees, snowed constantly all day, with about 6 inch accumulation, and constant ~20 mph winds, with ~40ish gusts. It was a terrible day to play two rounds of DG. Still had 25+ (12 MPO...
