H1 hands down is the most over stable disc I have ever thrown. I have thrown a Nuke OS, Xtreme, X1, Rage and a Spirit to compare. I can get my Drone way past my H1. The H1 is great for short utility shots, a zone or drone type disc might not even be needed anymore. They are amazing for thumbers...
They are completely different. The Vector flies like a more overstable buzz, its comparable to a wasp. I had a Vector for a while but never reached for it much because it wasn't too different from my glo buzz. The Drone is a meat hook, very overstable. I use the drone for hyzers, flex shots...
I can feel you. I have been throwing my destroyers and blizz bosses less in favor of wraiths and pds. Pretty damn good results. I still chuck the fast stuff for wide open holes and wind distance but not as much.
I threw an S Line DD Hysteria over a year or two ago, I only threw it twice but it went really damn far. Looking back on it, I should have made a trade for it but I was stupid when it came to discmania.
I am throwing PDs, Star Wraiths (one new, one bear) and a bunch of Destroyers. Could the DD replace Wraiths and Destroyers with various stages of wear?
They just started carrying Discraft, last time I was there it was all Innova and I got a lot of nice stuff. I played with Mike who lives there the other day and he said they have a bunch of Buzzz's and a bunch of different Discraft stuff.
I wish it was 45 minutes from nyc. I live in Brooklyn, I pick up players in the east village of manhattan and it takes almost two hours from Manhattan right off the FDR. Anyways, if you are within 3 hours of Warwick and love disc golf, go play it! I started playing in Minnesota/Twin Cities...
If you are in the area you have to play Warwick in New York. It is by far the best course around. Across the street is the Oasis, one of Warwick's course designers lives there along with a few other disc golf families. They have a course there that is private and still a work in progress...
Not true! Mine are held together with 6 zip ties and black duct tape. They started ripping into the second year and completely feel apart this year. I carry 25-30 discs at a time, a 32 oz beverage and sometimes 2-3 beers in the front pouch so I think the weight did the straps in.
Go with a normal weight pro destroyer, like 167-172. Better then dx and blizz. blizz Ds are overstable, the blizz boss seems to be less stable for some reason.
Three putt, thanks! There are some guys around here that got some Sanny Qs for sale that I will have to look into it.
IronJack, how do the new www ones fly compared to a Buzzz or a Roc? Are they a lot more overstable or just moderately? I gave up Wasps because the difference between them and...
S-PD > Avenger in my opinion. You should love that PD that is coming in the mail. C-PDs replaced all my preds. All you need now is a force or destroyer.
Sentinel, OOP Q vs Sirius plastic.
I am looking to add Sentinels to my mid range line up. I was looking for Qs and apparently the old mold is dead and all I can find are 168 gram and below Qs. Lots of the local guys around here are telling me the flat heavy Qs are selling on the market place...
