I've bought a couple of the Discraft putter/mids misprint 10 packs for the summer camp I work at. It was a good way to get a bunch of discs that we can use when we take kids out out to one of the nearby courses. I never actually threw any of them myself though.
I'm going to 5th (or is it 6th?) the Dart. I've been using the same one for putting and approaches (and drives on short courses) under about 225'. I have a stack of them that I practice putt with, and it's the only disc I have an ace with (hopefully so far). I like them in DX, but picked up a...
I work at a summer camp in Eagle River and play Sugar Camp 2-3 times a week while I'm there (June through mid July). We usually play 2 or 3 rounds each time. It's a fun short course for someone like me that can't throw very far!
I saw Paul Ulibarri at a course a few months ago. Someone from his group had left a disc on the hole I was on. I tossed it back to him and it was probably my most accurate throw of the day. He dropped it and his group started ribbing him about "That's why you throw them instead of catching...
I grew up near there. It's not unusual for disc golf to be called folf around those parts. We use to set up a target folf course on some of our property.
I had the same "problem" at that age. The metabolism really seemed to catch up with me at about 25. Now, at 36, I have to try pretty hard to get below 175 or above 180. I either need to hit the weights & buffet, or start running more than 60 miles per month. I'm ok with not doing either and...
Next summer will be easier on you. I grew up in the northwest and moved down here to the west valley about 10 years ago. The first summer was hell. Your body will adjust to the heat, but it takes awhile. It also goes the other way and you'll be grabbing a jacket when it gets down around 60 in a...

You can create them with the iOS or Android app, or even a dslr and some software, but it's time consuming.
To make it a street view instead of just a photo sphere, it's suggested that you create them 3' apart. It would definitely be a...
First I want to say thank you for filming and posting your videos. A lot of people don't realize how much time the editing process takes.
I'm sure you've probably answered this before, but I'm always interested in the process and equipment used (both hardware and software). I work in...
One of the stations could be upshots, or just a short 100'-150' long hole so they could drive and putt.
Working in a school and at a sports camp for the last 16 summers, I agree that small groups and keeping as many active at once will go a long way to keeping them interested. Aim for having...
I also work in a school, but work at a sports camp during the summer and only have about a week off between the both jobs. I was able to play a lot of rounds this summer, but only played 1 new course. It's difficult to get very far away from camp while there is still enough daylight to play, so...
I'll reiterate that it is very dependent on where you play. I average about -6 on the course I play the most frequently during the summer. I haven't played below par on the course closest to where I live the rest of the year. The summer course is 3,850' and the one near my house is 5,270'. I'm...
I'm in Wisconsin for a few weeks and a small group of us are able to play a short course in Sugar Camp a few times a week. My goal was to get to -10 sometime this summer. We played 3 rounds today and I went -7, -10, -4. It is a really short course, but I'm still happy to get into the double...
Played +1 at Thunderbird Paseo. That is the best score I've had there. I also hit the basket on #5, so only inches away from an ace. I was even through 17, but threw my drive on 18 into the busy street above last week, so I played it to safe and left myself to long of a putt after my upshot...
I definitely agree with this. Minimize the amount of time they are standing in line and make sure they are moving.
This probably doesn't have to be said, but be positive. No matter how bad of a throw or form a kid has, find something positive to say about what they are doing before you correct...
