2015 Tourney Videos

Thanks for posting, Aim.

I just wanted to remind folks that Disc Golf Live exists to be broadcast on local community TV stations found across the US. We provide free copies of our programs to stations and to folks who schlep them to their local station office. We believe in bringing the game to new faces in new places, and we also like to provide an entertaining show to established players. Thanks to the PDGA for supporting us for over a decade.

Thanks also to the content creators who we partner with to create our episodes. Regulars like Central Coast DG, Pure Hyzer Productions, LCGM8, and SpinTV, along with newcomers and one-timers help us bring our game to viewers. If you've got something to share, drop us a line. If you've got commentary chops but no footage to work with, consider contacting one of the many content creators who don't use any commentary and work something up for broadcast. (Unfortch, mostly silent footage isn't compelling for the uninitiated so much of the beautiful coverage found online is not of much use to us, as is.)

Back to working on the next episode. Looks like a tribute to the fairer sex, if plans don't fall through.

A fellow user from the Finnish DG forum put this together. Nice page that collects videos automatically and has a lot of filters to find you your favourites. Maybe not that useful if you have your Youtube really set up proper for the doing the same stuff for you but for people like me that really dont make use of the Youtube features, this is a nice page.

The latest episode of Disc Golf Live video magazine features a pair of 2015 events held exclusively for disc golfing gals. Frequent contributors Pure Hyzer Productions sent along their coverage of the Daisy Chains tournament final nine, while Bobby Brown and Dynamic Discs provided a feature on the Rocky Mountain Women's Disc Golf Championship. The show also features Dixon Jowers and Paige Bjerkaas offering tips on driving, and A. Ray explaining a player's options after an out of bounds throw. Both pieces are also compliments of Dynamic Discs.

Disc Golf Live is a PDGA supported project to grow public awareness of DG via local and community TV stations found across the country. Program downloads and DVDs are available for submission to local providers, whether a station serves a few hundred or millions of potential viewers. HD and SD versions are available. If you have a station in town and need a hand in figuring out how to submit a show for local broadcast, or to request a DVD copy by mail, drop us a note. Program downloads are also available at www.PEGMEDIA.org

Grow the game locally. There's no better place to start.
