A new teebird shouldn't turn over unless you OAT it, and teebirds also don't come back as much as other discs. They will if you give them enough height though.

The Archon is definitely faster than the Beast and is not quite as flippy, especially in a slight headwind. The Archon is a straighter version of the Wraith, so in a headwind, I would stick with the Wraith.
