Turns out it was installed improperly. The polarity was reversed!

Tomorrow I'll flip the disc over to see if that works.

Holy **** ! I didn't even think about this. :doh:

I just assumed you need to have the rim side down for charging, but now that I think about it, if you put the flight plate side down, you should have more surface area contacting the charging base, so it probably works better.

Unless you got a poppy top disc of course. :\
