A local course used to be named after him, there is also a tournament every year in his remebrence.

Yes there was a course named after him........... Was it River Bends or Stony Creek?

There was another very influential player from the Detroit area that passed away......... went by the name Bobis. Can't remember his actual name but he was one of the founders on the Motor City Chain Gang.
