Distance in the Field vs On the Course

One funny thing that happens is when I play a sanctioned round I always tell myself to slow down. But for whatever reason when I slow down I end up throwing further. YMMV but I try to visualize drew gibson or tristan tanner, who have slow run ups and it helps me out a lot. When I start rushing or hopping through my x step it messes everything up.

There is this silly notion that you have to run like conrad to throw far.

When the reality is, you can stand still and throw 500 feet.
GRAHAM RUSSELL is an example of this.
He has to throw standstills.

There are several players that throw very efficiently and make 300-400+ look smooth and easy.

300-400 with decent form and nose angle can be really easy and look easy.
