Do you use "scheduled rounds"?

I'm always hoping to meet another DGCRer out there, but I've never seen anyone else use this feature so it's tough to coordinate.

Do you ever schedule your upcoming rounds?

I have yet to really use this feature yet. I can see it's use, but really plans change at the last minute too much to make it worth while for me.

I never have any definite plans so anytime listed would be just a suggestion. My friends are difficult to co-ordinate.

I use it if I know I'm going in advance. I would use it on weekdays but generally it's a "how's the weather look outside? Good? How's tomorrow look? crap? Let's go!"

Then it's "...so where are we playing?"

I plan on listing next springs league days and maybe I'll list my Sundays off.

Sometimes I'm not sure where I'm going to play until minutes before I go there to do it. If I made a point of advertising it on DGCR, I don't think anyone would see it in time.

That and with my upside down schedule, I don't think anyone would want to come or could come when I'm going.

If I posted saying I would be playing Basil next Wednesday at noon, do you really think anybody would show up?

It's good if you're going on a road trip and know you'll be at course X at a certain time.

i have used it a few times... but only when i was plannin road trips to courses

I've got it as part of a weekly reservation. While I'm not likely to forget the highlight of my week, it's good time-management practice.
