Firts Dye Attempt

Well, thanks to all the great info I got here I have my first attempt soaking right now. I am a Bears fan so I thought I would dye my brand new orange champion Sidewinder. I wanted to go with the big bear head but, I found my hand just isnt steady enough for all that detail. So I went with the traditional Chicago C. I am gonna let her sit for about 20 minutes and see where it leaves me. I will post a pic when I am done.

Almost done! The dye is taking longer than I thought to set in. No biggie, just wait a little longer. Anybody, got any ideas for what to do with the leftover dye? Seems like a waste to just toss it!

I hear ya. I kind of zoned out and forgot to post the pics. It turned out way off center, and you can clearly see that I dont have a steady hand for cutting. But, I am satisfied with my first attemp. I also dyed a new white putter, just completely dunked it and it came out a nice blueberry color.

saw on this second page that you got it to work ... just confused as to why it wasnt fixed earlier by someone who could have fixed it
