I keep on admiring everybody's dyes, and really appreciate this artistic spin off (so to speak) of our hobby (throwing the darn things ).

And I keep wondering if I should listen to "Red":
"Get busy living, or get busy dyeing".

...or something like that.

Did the Alien last night and just finished Predator. Not sure why the dye didn't take in a few spots on the Predator. Any ideas?

Probably residue from the vinyl. Gotta make sure to get all that off before dyeing it.

Ah, ok. I actually use contact paper. This is the first time it's happened so I guess I'll just be aware of that in the future.

Could be other things as well. Anything greasy, etc.
