If you do want slower speed glidey mids, things like the Buzzz SS, Mako3, Lat64 Fuse or Core are all very glidey, neutral great for learning. You won't go wrong with any of those.
Gstar plastic from Innova also tends to fly more mellow/glidey when new. Most players prefer beat in discs as they tend to glide more and fade later/less. Gstar flies closer to that when fresh. Something like a Gstar Leopard or a Pro Leopard could be good.
Again, you don't "need" any of these as you have some good discs already, but if you want to add some more discs for added practice throws between picking them up then you won't go wrong with any of those. There are tons of good discs out there, just stay away from overstable and fast discs when learning to throw. Of course on the course they are useful, just don't expect them to fly nearly as far.
More excellent info. Thank you so much! I had NO idea that worn in discs glide better and fade less! Hahaha So that is great to know as my local disc store sells lots of used ones. I should be looking through those instead of the new ones, haha. Also had no idea that the grippier plastics, like GStar glide better with less fade! Great great info!
And I think I see where everyone is going with their advice, even if it's not exactly the same. Use neutral/slightly understable discs with speed ratings under 9 and just practice practice practice. And then once I see improvement, move up a little more in speed rating?
And yeah, I just want to have more discs to practice with as well, before having to go pick them all up, haha. And if I'm going to get more discs, I might as well get ones that will help me more than others.
Thanks again!
