Hall of Fame Classic presented by Prodigy Disc updates:

-We will be adding a minimum of $10,000 to the Pro NT

-Due to low demand in the Pro divisions for the Disc Golf Hall of Fame Classic presented by Prodigy Disc, we have opened more Amateur spots. As of right now there are 29 spots available for the Amateur A Tier side and 29 spots available for the Professional NT.

After these 58 slots are filled we will have reached the 216 player full capacity of the IDGC facility.

We recommend not waiting any longer to register for this event if you are planning on playing.

With 10k in added cash, how can the pros not be stepping over their own mothers to enter this?

will that $10000 be 3 to 1 for the MPO and FPO divisions still? hence... $7500 added to top divisions, $2500 to lower divisions?

Or is it based on ratios... assuming there's 100 players... and there are 70 MPO/FPO, and 30 MASTERS,

70 pros at triple pay plus 30 masters at single...
(70 * 3) + (30 * 1) = 240...
10000/240 = 41.67
41.67 * 210 = 8750
41.67 * 30 = 1250

50 pros and 50 age based would be a true 3 to 1 split at $7500/2500.

Just learning my NT added cash scenarios....

Matt, the triple share method is where each MPO and FPO counts as 3 players then the added cash allocated to each division based on the number of "players" in it (like your calculation.)

The triple share formula is an old NT guideline, according to the new guidelines added cash will be distributed with an emphasis on the showcase divisions. (MPO and FPO)

Generally, I add cash to the pro divisions based on percentage of players per division. The payout will be posted by Friday night and be fully transparent, pros will not receive player's packages this year.

Looks like a lot of the top pros are playing the major in Denmark the following weekend, so I assume they will be gone by the time HOFC starts.

Still not sure why more local/regional pros don't sign up then.

I think it may be a little expensive for the local/regional pros. I used the suggested PDGA guidelines for entry fees, I guess this may be a lesson learned. The scheduling of the event was out of my hands as far as the proximity to Santa Cruz NT and the Denmark Major.

live scoring is all over the place. But a cool undertaking. 11 down is the best score in so far. but i am thinking the Champ Nikko or a few others could come in at 12+ under.
