reviews are hilarious, and these are my favorite!

most dangerous and uncomfortable course on the planet, once you recover from the pricks of the cacti/stickers as well as the 100+ bug bites you will be among the most daring of all disc golfers. If you're reading this, prepare yourself mentally and physically for war and then… send it

Instead of life in prison, send inmates to play 36 holes a day at this course. They will learn their lesson.

That's the most Metal course I've ever played. Everything out there is telling you to leave and that you're not welcome.

This course does not want to be played. The fairways are made of cacti.

The floor is cactus. Horse flies will potentially eat a small child...

we redesign the course this year and updated it on this app and put in a few brand new baskets. Come play.

a lot of times, you just have too 'stand and deliver', because you don't want to drag your feet through cacti!

when walking FAIRWAYS, you must pretend you're in a marching band, for the same reason!

You left out "the deer carcass in the pond by hole 2 is a biohazard". "And the guy at the hardware store sent me down here and told me this was an awesome course", he was disappointed. I came across the Udisc reviews last summer and they had me laughing. I started checking for more weekly.

I know who the guy at the hardware is in Kill Devil Hills just a short ways from Casey Logan course I play every few months. They have a great selection of discs in the store. I told him what I read, and he just laughed. He plays along with at least one other in the store.

Frisco is a little less than 3 hours from Virginia Beach I decided to go in the winter to avoid the too many bugs. I had a plan to wear my snow boots, jeans which I never wear to play, workman glove for non-throwing hand with pliers to pluck the cacti, and to save my bag, a canvas bag with just a handful of discs. When I picked my date a few months ago, the 18-holer was reduced to 9-holes and no course map which is a must. I hope the course isn't going away, I'll miss those Udisc reviews, and disappointed not to play it.

Honestly, I've played a lot worse courses that are a LOT less scenic than this one.

I would 100% play this one and probably like it just based on the ruggedness and the fact I love cacti.. And it looks like it has a great view of the coast.

Christ.....Pennywise the clown is actually lurking in the background of that photo. I can't see where anyone would expect a good time. They all float down there. :eek:

PS. I will take cactus over poison ivy, ALL DAY.

I'd bag it. Looks like it has some charm.

Them little cacti are a royal pain in the ass though. Maybe not ass per se, but lower legs at least. I'm looking at you Energy Rotary Club...;)

I'd take them over poison ivy, oak or nettles anyday though.
 
One of our locals has a terrier of some type that is a constant companion. The dog took a look at Frisco and went back to the car. I think this course was put in commando style without the knowledge of the property owners or something along those lines.
