Otter, the whole situation has already been resolved with tact and diplomacy. In other words, in a correct fashion. You have just shed a very poor light on Veterans locals, that I'm fairly sure your club higher ups would think is in poor taste. Now, persons are going to have to go back to their reviews of Veterans and deduct another .5 for the possibility of being beat up or at least berated for not being Chuck Norris like. Those who think that Kentucky is full of nothing but red necks have also had their thoughts legitimized. Way to represent.

thanks tall paul....but, sorry to burst your bubble, not originally from kentucky, so i don't care what you think of the actual kentucky rednecks who live here. But you are right, this has gone on long enough....so i will be the bigger man, and just stop...Kevin, good luck in the tourney...aww, forget, you're gonna be eaten alive by the locals....just saying..and who said anything about beating someone up at veteran's...wow, you've gone down the wrong path man...if i see anyone confused at either park, i ALWAYS show them the way, but when you come onto a forum blasting the locals and the courses, they will get upset. and they will be heard!

I was enjoying the fun as much as anyone; I even know most of the players involved. Had it continued in this manner much more; the mods would have closed it anyway. At least now, there is the opportunity; after the tourney, for players to come back here and say things like; wow, that was a great tourney and a wonderful course; rather than the thread ending up as a closed flame war. And...gee, thanks dad...

Got my players pack, and a new CFR Champion Glo Destroyer....and what's with the Bright Convict Orange shirts we got?? Feels like we should have a police escort with us...on horseback...with shotguns.. i think i'm going to dye it to look like the death star...i've figured out a foolproof way of dyeing my discs..they look fantastic!!

Good Luck tomorrow to all the players of the Open....and watch out, if it's as muggy tomorrow as it was today, people are going to be crashing the last nine holes of the day...vet's was tough, buggy, but still enjoyable
