List your top 5 favorite courses

Turkey Creek, Iowa City, IA
University of OB, Weed, CA
Swope Park, KC, MO
Blue Valley Park, KC, MO
Prospect Park, Moline, IL

If I start on honorable mentions I probably won't quit short of a dozen, so I won't start. :)

Ozark Mountain (complex)
The Lodge (complex)
Indian Camp Creek
Strawn Park
Blue Valley

I haven't traveled a lot either. The two complexes have probably 4 of my top 5, so I didn't want to list the particular courses.

I'm new and haven't played that many, but I make a point of playing new (to me) courses when I am out of my home area :)

1. Patriot's Park (Greensboro, NC) just played this one last weekend, very long, challenging for the noodle/beginner arms, well manicured, perfectly maintained, with great signage/maps/navigation, 2 sets of tees

2. Grand Central Station (Central, SC) one of my "home courses" by far the biggest and best in my area, great variety, Water in play, and an "Island" Green!

3. Creekside Park (Archdale, NC) well maintained, wooded, Easy(is this really a par 4?) somewhat technical, water in play, yay!

4. Sertoma Field (Walhalla, SC) easy, fun, course, water in play to the left, bring that FH! eats discs :(

5. Shaver Rec Complex (Seneca, SC) heavily wooded, my closest(home) course, great tees and variety, great place to break in those new OS discs on big old Oak trees! also fun for Glow Discing

- Anyone change their list in the last 3+ years?

I haven't look back far enough to see if I ever posted a list to begin with, but.....

I played Camp Canaan (Rock Hill, SC) this year, and it grabbed my #1 spot and bumped everything else down a notch.

Next time you're in the Triad, let me know, and we can get in a round if you want. My friends and I play Patriot all the time and have played Creekside, Johnson Street, Guilford, and most of the other locals.

Like your selections. I played Highland hills when it was very wet. The transfers were very dangerous.

DeLaVeaga: Santa Cruuuuuz, CA

Nockamixon: Quakertown, PA

Penn Valley/Grass Valley combo: CA

Fiddleneck: 36 holes of bliss in Valley Springs, CA

Milo McIver: Portlandia, OR area

Honorable mention

Lemon Lake Gold

I haven't look back far enough to see if I ever posted a list to begin with, but.....

I played Camp Canaan (Rock Hill, SC) this year, and it grabbed my #1 spot and bumped everything else down a notch.

I did

Ashe County
Gran Canyon
Stoney Hill
Hampton Park
Still Waters Farm

2 of which are extinct, and a 3rd is an annual temporary course so otherwise unplayable. 3 of the 5 are/were private courses.

No order at this time:

WR Jackson - GA
Camden 2 - IL
Wildcat Bluff - IA
Ocala Greenway - FL
Steady Ed - GA

I plan on playing BRP and VisionQuest next year so my list could be changing.

Giant's Ridge
Highbridge Hills Blueberry
Kaposia
Mont du Lac White Cedar
Blue Ribbon Pines

This is hard for me, but I'd probably list them like this;

1.Rollin Ridge WI
2. Milo McIver OR
3.Hornings Hideout-Meadow Ridge OR
4. Flip City MI
5. Hobbs Farm GA

I've seen a lot of love for WR Jackson on here, but I liked the other two IDC courses better. Honestly of the 53 I've played I have fond memories of most, but those 5 sick out in my mind.

I hope for in invite to Flyboy one day, but haven't been able to make the trip yet.

My homer picks would probably be Dexter Park, East Roswell, McCurry and the Rez... but I couldn't put them top 5.

1. Milo McIver OR
2. Highbridge mix-n-match WI
3. Whistler's Bend OR
4. Idlewild KY
5. Stafford Lake CA
