1 Temp course at Midlothian Castle Magnetewan Ontario
Hundreds of acres of the best land ever for golf in Northern Ontario. The landscape is loaded with massive art installations all over the property of screaming heads, dragons the owners place is onsite and have been turned into a castle. There cant be anything like it anywhere. It has been a temp course for a weekend tourney for the past 5 or 6 years with constant talk of it becoming permanent.

List is by destination, not by particular layout within course

1. Polipoli, HI (Maui) - Best vacation ever. Go there.
2. North Calais, VT - open once a week in the evening, good luck, call ahead
3. Blackfalls/Cherry Hill, VT - Holds best NewEngland tournament, hands down
4. Maple Hill, MA - hour away:)
5. Blockhouse, VA- Hawk Hollow was F'n closed during our weekend in VA

Honorable mentions:
6. Borderland, MA - Homecourse shout out. Everytime I travel, I learn to appreciate what a great course it truly is. I love playing in the woods.
7. Hornets Nest, NC - Well rounded course.
8. Wickham Park, CT - Beautiful landmark in the heart of CT.

Sugaree and WR Jackson are my top two. Winthrop Gold with the ropes up during the USDGC is a sight to behold. My favorite of all the Charlotte courses is the Scrapyard, and Bradley Center will always be a favorite, for personal reasons. The other two courses at the IDGC figure in there somewhere, and I gotta mention Stoney Hill and Bear Tree Cabin because they're both terrific destination worthy courses on their own. How many was that? I got more. Maybe.

He does not close hawk hollow randomly. It has to be closed due to aggressive cattle.

I've only played courses in Texas, so this is obviously limited.

1) Selah - Lakeside - Talco, TX
2) Selah - Creekside - Talco, TX
3) William Cameron Park - Waco, TX
4) Lester Lorch Beaver DGC - Cedar Hill, TX
5) Harry Myers Park - Rockwall, TX

There are so many courses that I really like, the top two are the only safe ones on this list.
