Looking for a course to play while in dallas

Hi all I'm going to be on Dallas this weekend and I brought my plastic. We're staying in downtown Dallas. What's the best course around thanks! Also if anyone wants to shoot a round tomorrow AM hit me up!

There's not a lot in Dallas proper that's very good.

Roger W Lytle is actually very good for a course with less than 18 holes. You can fit in a quick visit to this one. It's really one of my favorites. You'll have to drive to get to anything else.

The best course around would be Harry Myers in Rockwall.

Both the courses in Carolton are pretty good, that would put you near the DD shop as well.

Turner park in Grand Prairie is pretty good, and going to be going away soon, so it may be worth a look.

If you have time, there is the 36-hole complex south of town called Lester Lorch. Most courses will have lots of mud however due to recent rain, so bring lots of hotel towels.
