i live in lancaster PA and i am looking for better competition. i've been playing with the same group of people for years and would like to expand. At some point i would like to start playing tournaments, but feel like i need to learn some of the unwritten and written rules that get over looked in friendly play. my score card on my profile isn't up to date but the scores on it are pretty accurate with how i'm shooting now. i'm willing to travel a bit on the weekends, anywhere within an hour to an hour and a half. i've played buchmiller, akron(roland park), brandywine, the old french creek courses, codorus, pinchot state park boulder woods.
thanks
Ty

Move to GA...

Seriously, play in some tournaments. IMO, a very educating option.
Also, do you play in any local doubles leagues? Lot's of fun and educational as well.

I'm kinda looking for the same thing. I play with a friend of mine all the time. Actually played some doubles with 2 guys at Buchmiller today. You definitely learn alot by watching other people you're not used to watching.

Please feel free to join the Crawdads @ Creekside on Saturdays at 10am and noon, Thursdays @ 5pm (GLOW!) and Fridays @ 3:00pm.

Additionally, should you really want to put your game to the test, please join the Llamas @ Quaker's Challenge (near the water tower by the #2 basket) for Winter Fun League doubles every Sunday @ 10 am.

The Llama's also meet every Tuesday @ 3:45 PM for WFL at pavialion #1 on the Boulder Woods course.
