Anyone know if Mont Du Lacis open? I'm up in Duluth for two days, and was thinking about hitting it up tomorrow morning, but don't want to head over if they've pulled the baskets.

If it is open, is there anything I should know about it? Like "after hole 5, don't go left, even though it says to; there's a pungee pit that will destroy you."

Sick course! I doubt its open, but I don't know hopefully someone will let you know it is and you can make it out there, its worth it.

Thanks, it looks sick. If not, maybe I'll see if any of the local Duluth Courses are open just because i happen to have my bag up here with me... although I don't want to get lost at this course again...

I know all the Fox Valley courses but Grignon are closed for the season if that's any indication, but good luck with contacting them.

Just got a reply from Bryan Lagergren on Facebook:

"White Cedar Course Open 365 days a year. Eagles Peak Course gets pulled 1st of Nov."

Edit: This is probably good news, too late, as I see you intended to go this morning. Hopefully you got the course status before I posted this.

Mont Du Lac. The Most Underrated Course in Minnesota. (Yes I know it's in Wisconsin).

Brian is the friggin' bomb. GREAT line up of craft beers. Brian is from WBL, so there are tribute holes on the course for holes he's played (like the extinct Valley shot at Kaposia).

If the course was closer to a major metro area, dare I say, it might be as, or more popular, than Blue Ribbon Pines.

definitely an awesome course. It's only an hour drive for me to get there. I only played 16 holes the first time i went and i fell in love.

Lager is an awesome dude, I love what he's doing up there. Mont Du Loc is either in or right next to Fond Du Loc that may be what causes the confusion. Last time I was up there I stayed at the casino in Fond Du Loc, it was a pretty short drive to the course.
