Movie editing

So last night I was trying to edit the 05 USDGC so that I could only watch the putting, I wanted to cut everything else out. I usually catch on to things really quick but I couldn't figure it out to save my life. Could somebody tell me how to do it?

What software are you using? If it's a free trial, it might be a limited version that doesn't allow you to save.
