New Shoe Suggestions

FWIW, I switched from adidas terrex to these and couldn't be happier. picked up an extra gtx pair and an extra non-gtx pair

I just bought a pair of "Terrex Swift R" on Sierra Trading Post (had a gift card). Hopefully not as bad as some folks are thinking!

FWIW, I previously had a pair of New Balance 412 Trail Running shoes (maybe v2?) that made it a least a year and they did great on some pretty rough courses. Pretty cheap and surprisingly rugged.

Yeah, some of those have some gnarly soles. Can't say I like the look of them though. The splatter prints and random streaks everywhere....

How narrow are the toes? They look pretty tight in the pics I saw

I have pretty normal feel and the shoes seem to have some decent room in the toe

I recently switched from Keen(Nasu, Marshall, Saltzman) to Merrell Moab edge. These are amazingly comfortable and look nice. The soles on these are the most supportive of any shoe I've ever worn and I'm happy to say I am a convert. Merrell is gonna be my new jam. Just thought I'd add this to the mix here.
