Which of these best describes Hole 18 at the Utah Open?

I'm going to look at pars at A tiers and above so far this year.

If there was an "award" (similar to the Golden Raspberry Awards) for the TD who uses the softest par, what should it be called?

Is it a good idea to award it?
 
Why not? Your one man crusade has already managed to change the rule book, might as well publically shame some people too...

It's a horrible idea. But since is says more about you than the the TD, you might as well go ahead. For their efforts in running tournaments, TD's get enough grief already that piling a little more on probably won't be very noticeable.

Besides, under the rules, par is their call, not yours.

Stumbled across some scores, so…

Two Days in May / Darkside, event par of 56 was rated 970. 52 would be rated 1007. I'd probably set #13 to par 3 for a 998-rated par of 53.
