Please help my form

weight is on lead foot never transfers from ground up, posture collapses and head too focused on aiming while body isn't aiming at all. Shoulders open causing weight to be off.

Too big of stance/stride with no real involment of the hips. Mostly shoulder/arm power with throwing planes out of sync.

Lots of good info in the links thanks. Is there anyone close to central Ohio on here that could help me implement the right technique to me throw. I have to see it to really learn it. I will be working on it my self also. I will post up a new video in a few days. Hopefully with some progress!

Don't just turn your front shoulder backwards...turn your left shoulder around as well (shoulder blade towards target) so you actually twist during the backswing.

Others have pointed out some other issues.

You're also not bracing against your lead leg/knee...your rear leg just swings around so you don't get power transfer into the disc.

Thanks slow. I know I need to work on the weight shift. When you talk about bracing is that meaning only on the front leg at the time of the hit?

No I'm meaning your rear knee should move into your front knee, rather than to the left of it. If you do not brace for impact, your rear knee goes "around" the front knee and you spin out. If you brace, your knees are in line and your body's momentum is transferred into the front leg that you are braced against (the inside of your foot) and you are less likely to spin around the leg uncontrollably.

Does the wrist break once the elbow stops leading??? I've been trying to keep it locked through the whole shot. Bracing now make much more sense to me. I see what you mean now about just spinning and an acutual brace and true rotation around the axis. I can't wait to get out tomorrow and try it. I know you guys get a lot of the same questions I appreciate your help.

Kind of...it opens up as you're swinging around and using your elbow/shoulder to actively swing open/around. Keep it pretty floppy loose while you mess around with things to feel it close and open. Play mostly with how far forward to lead with your bent elbow (tip: as far forward as possible) before opening up for the throw/extension. Getting to this position correctly will cause your loose wrist to open up at the right time.

Once you know what you're doing you can go back to a tighter wrist again if you like that.
