Miramar is still my favorite 9-hole course. I really gotta join you guys one night for a night round out there.

Billy was talking about setting up a night game league out at Miramar in the fall. I think it's an awesome idea. Encourage Billy if you see him.

Chris you got any plans for Labor Day? I am planning on hitting Jack Brooks about 9am.

I took this picture last week at my home course. We get these Bannana Spiders from May-October all over the course. I almost walked into this one. :

Those spiders are all over Jack Brooks right now. Yesterday we found at least a dozen of them and I nearly walked into a few of their nests.

I am so used to them from Kingwood, that they don't bother me anymore. I am suprised though, there are not many in Kingwood this year. I only counted about 5 last time I was there. Last year, I counted about 300 everytime I played.

#8 at Pleasure Island near the Louisiana/Texas border. This course is on an island. You can see the ships on both sides of the course.

I usually play this course on the way back from the casinos in LA. It's a great course and a very interesting location.

Well, they're all down at Jack Brooks now. Must have been the sinkhole that scared them off. ;)

It seems like this year, Jack Brooks has gotten more rain than Kingwood, and I think that may have something to do with it. You still wanna play Labor Day? I am taking my brother-in-laws to play. They have never played, so this should be fun. One of the brother in laws has tossed a disc few times when I brought my practice basket to a family function, and he did pretty well.

Note to self, never playing in TX. Jesus. I hate spiders, and those are too big to be worth any course.

Hey Chris, you will like this pic. Of course this is hole #5 taken from the #6 tee box, in Mirarmar Park in Sea Brook, TX.

They are only one the courses from May-October. Also, not all the courses have them.

Whatever, as long as those freakin things don't migrate to west Houston we won't have a problem.

Note - Jack Brooks now unplayable in my book until winter :( (Did I mention I really hate those spiders???)
