*Flyboy did it.

Hole 22(?), next to the hangar. Always an ace run but flanked by GA pines.

The Final day of the World's is done. I got to Hornet's Nest early to get a premium parking spot and relax before the day started.

Towards the end of the day the crowds of spectators were getting bigger and after McBeth wins and I'm done for the day I head back to my truck...

IDLEWILD, 7-21-12

These aren't the greatest pics. But I think that they're cool and they represent great memories for me. Hopefully someone will find them worth a look!

Parking lot and practice tee at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, 7-21-12. I was the only one on the course at this time.

Just the old basket on the A position of hole #13. What kind of basket is this?

My Roc as it landed with my third throw on the 1001' hole #15. I missed the 50'ish putt but was very happy to take my par 5 on the hole! That's my Aviar to the left of the basket in the pic.

That's called a Black Ace Special.

Those who know the course know what I mean!

Seriously, though, I haven't been around long enough to know the answer...
Anyone 'seasoned' enough to know?
