Post a cool disc golf photo

I was playing just before dark and we got to 18 and shouldn't have thrown because it was getting REALLY dark.. A friend went down the path to spot and I threw on a hole that makes a sharp dogleg about 240' in. it looked like it hit the big overhanging tree, but I couldn't see where it deflected. I walked down and asked if he had seen it land. He smiled and pointed up. 9 feet up was my disc, wedged.

The view makes up for doinking my birdie attempt.

The motley crew.

Its always good when you roll into a course and a festival is going on, unless it forces the course closed or unplayable.

Cold... but still a nice day for a our league's preseason event. No snow and the ground was dry.

We played best shot doubles. Up to the very end my drives were spot on (this was a 330+ uphill throw with the basket sitting blind on the backside slope. It throws like 370), but...

... we missed this birdie attempt that would have given us a commanding lead.

Before the round we saw a pair of bald eagles sitting on the ice. I was able to snap off a dozen pictures as they took to flight.

This is how you throw an Opto XXX.

Foot fault. You're going to have to go back and play that (w)hole (course) again :p
Hahaha  you're telling me! I actually called him on a foot fault the last time we played because he stepped off the front of the tee when he threw it. My brother has this tendency to go towards the right corner of the teepad and he has even slipped off the tee before. He's lucky these are flush with the ground! :p

Also that picture with the bald eagles is amazing! Very cool.

Bald Eagle pictures are awesome!!

They were out on the ice doing something, likely looking for easy pickings. We sneaked along the shore as quietly as possible. There is a dock that went out almost as far as where the eagles were, but there was a 10 foot gap between the dock and the shore. Someone had placed a thin board to try to bridge that gap, but it still bent enough where I got my shoes wet. That was good enough to make one of them take flight. By the time I was ready, the either one took off as well. Unfortunately they flew away from me. The other photographer with me was able to catch them taking off, so her pictures were better timed, but unfortunately they will also more grainy.

I did not play so well yesterday, but I wanted to see and edit these photos before I went back into the garage and started tinkering with my bag. Out came the Bards and back in went the Truths and Verdicts again.

I found Bigfoot while disc golfing yesterday. That's actually a photo of a branch that I knocked off a tree with my drive. I was literally chopping wood.

From a hole under construction near Kuopio, Finland. At the bottom of the valley you can see a par 5 hole running well over 1000 feet across the open field. Summer version of this epic view pending...
