Here is my parents' new puppy! He is a little Sheltie pup that they decided to name Hendrix. He's so stinking cute and soft and fluffy. Pup has a great demeanor and I'm looking forward to taking him discing to learn from his new big sister! I kept him on my bed last night and he just cuddled up next to me and slept all night.

I had a stressful week so I'm glad I got to cap it with some puppy time!

This is Loki, our aussie/husky mix. There's a course co-located with a big dog park nearby, so he got to come play for the first time today. I had to race him to my drives a few times, but at least he's gentle with the discs he picks up.

Get ready for cuteness overload!

My parents' puppy annoying my brother's dog. Hopefully they'll still be discing buddies! :D

Awesome! Gotta love the pups. Brought a big smile to my face. :D
Puppy love! Pups always brighten the day.

Awesome Heeler!
Thanks! Yea she is our discing dog. She is amazing at finding lost discs, as well as chasing them and catching them! :D We have her in agility training right now but she's been kind of shy about it so we'll see how it goes.

BUMP

Wifey and I are looking to buy a place soon with a fenced back yard, we will DEFINITELY be adopting shortly after...

Well, 10 days shy of a year later, wifey and I will be bringing home our first pup on 6/5. He's the black and white guy laying on his back in the first picture and the top middle in the second pic. His mom was a chocolate lab but the rescue agency isn't sure what breed the father is, the pups look all lab to my untrained eye. The foster family named him Twizzler (the puppies all had candy names) but we plan to name him Fritchie (after Barbara Fritchie) for a Frederick, MD theme.

We are super pumped to bring him home and I can't wait to start working with him on retrieving discs and proper golf edicate. Any quick tips to help us get started on the right track? We are planning to enter him into obedience classes at sitmeanssit but still need to go and check it out in person.

This little dude is learning how to not chase discs, but my buddy seems to think its funny to encourage play with frisbees because his dog does it.

Here's Smokey recharging the batteries at Mecca. We managed to add 19 courses played to our lists this past week. He's sitting at 124 walked played.

A cycle of 10" soft bite discs. Fresh to Beat. They sun fade quick. I flick low mostly. Very power and clean release sensitive. (Rubber tube ring and vinyl canvas)

Parents dog Bailey, a year and a half old golden doodle. Working on frisbee skills occasionally. She uses her arms to catch sometimes in cat like fashion. Hopefully enough of the crazy juvenile will be gone that I can start taking it out on hikes and rounds next spring.
