The Disc: I acquired this disc in trade from a guy claiming it was a proto whippet. It indeed does have a "W" marked on the back. However, this disc has NO PRINTING on the back - which was how only the proto vipers were released. I also measured it to be sure and it is indeed a Viper from 1990/91. It also does have a very minor amount of shelf wear - couple of tiny nicks on the rim and on the under side of the flight plate from being fingered by someone with fingernails. So it is NOT 1000% pristine - but about as close as you will find for a disc this age. Another nice piece of DG history - Enjoy!
