I prefer straddle spin putts. That said, I like being able to do everything to some degree or other. I play a lot of mountain courses, so being able to get around trees, get flat stances, et al is important. Thus, knowing how to throw everything from in-line putts, turbo putts, scooby putts and straddle are all handy. Pick whichever one you like as your main style, but it is helpful to being able to throw all of them to a greater or lesser extent can help lower your scores.
